SMS Terms & Conditions

  • Effective Date: September 6, 2026
  • Last Updated: September 6, 2026

These terms govern the text messaging (SMS) program operated by Casagrande Law ("Casagrande Law," "we," "us," or "our"). By opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these terms.

1. Program Description

Program Name: Casagrande Law Client & Case Communications

Casagrande Law uses SMS to communicate with prospective clients who have contacted us and with existing clients about their matters. Messages are sent from the firm's text-enabled office number.

This is a conversational and transactional messaging program. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages.

2. How You Opt In

You are enrolled in our SMS program only when you affirmatively give us your consent. You can do this by:

  • Checking the SMS consent box on a contact or intake form on this website. The box is unchecked by default and you must check it yourself.
  • Texting us first at our text-enabled office number.
  • Giving verbal or written consent in person, by phone, or on a paper intake form at our office.

The consent language presented on our website form reads:

By checking this box, you agree to receive text messages from Casagrande Law at the phone number provided, including appointment reminders, case updates, and responses to your inquiry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of retaining our services. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of hiring Casagrande Law or of receiving any legal service. You may decline SMS and still contact us by phone or email.

3. Types of Messages You Will Receive

  • Responses to an inquiry or consultation request you submitted
  • Appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders
  • Updates and administrative notices about your legal matter, if we represent you
  • Requests for documents or information needed for your matter
  • Replies to messages you send us

Sample messages:

Casagrande Law: Hi [Name], we received your inquiry and would like to schedule a consultation. Are you available this week? Reply STOP to opt out.
Casagrande Law: Reminder — your appointment with Grace is tomorrow at 2:00 PM at our Orlando office. Reply STOP to opt out.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us and the status of your matter.

5. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Casagrande Law does not charge you for text messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for messages sent and received according to your plan. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.

6. How to Opt Out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Text STOP to our text-enabled office number, or reply STOP to any message you receive from us.

After you send STOP, we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, you will not receive any further text messages from us unless you opt in again.

We also honor: STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT.

Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of other communications. If we represent you, we will continue to contact you by phone, email, or mail as needed for your matter.

To rejoin, text START to the same number or check the consent box on our website form again.

7. How to Get Help

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, reply HELP to any message, or contact us:

  • Phone: 407-502-0607 (Orlando) · 813-563-3163 (Tampa)
  • Email: grace@casagrandelaw.net

Replying HELP will return our contact information and a reminder of how to opt out.

8. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile phone number you provide. By opting in, you confirm that both are true.

If your mobile number changes or is reassigned, notify us immediately at 407-502-0607 so we do not send messages to someone else.

9. Carriers and Delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. We are not responsible for messages that are delayed, blocked, filtered, or not delivered.

Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and most other US carriers. Carrier support may change without notice.

10. Do Not Send Sensitive Information by Text

Text messages are not a secure or confidential channel. Do not send detailed information about your legal matter, documents, or sensitive personal information by text.

If you are not yet a client, information you send us by text is not protected by the attorney-client privilege, and texting us does not create an attorney-client relationship. That relationship is formed only after a conflicts check and a signed written engagement agreement.

If you need to discuss sensitive details, call us at 407-502-0607 (Orlando) or 813-563-3163 (Tampa).

11. Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information described in our Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We share your mobile number only with the messaging provider that delivers our texts, solely for the purpose of sending and receiving messages on our behalf.

For full details on how we collect, use, and protect your information, see our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to participate in the program after an update means you accept the revised terms.
